Avro Shackleton WR977 “B” Short-Sleeve Unisex Premium T-Shirt
The Avro Shackleton was a British long-range maritime patrol aircraft used by the Royal Air Force (RAF) during the Cold War. Based on the Avro Lincoln bomber, it was designed for anti-submarine warfare (ASW), reconnaissance, and search and rescue (SAR) missions. WR977 was part of the Shackleton MR.2 variant, which featured enhanced radar and electronics. Â WR977, is on display at the Newark Air Museum in Nottinghamshire, England. Built as an MR.3 variant, it served in the RAF for anti-submarine warfare before being retired in 1977.
