F-105 “Old Crow II” Low Top Canvas Shoes
This design is based on the F-105 Thunderchief (Serial 60-5375) nicknamed “Old Crow II” flown by General Clarence “Bud” Anderson whilst Wing Commander of the 355th Tactical Fighter Wing stationed at Takli Air Base in Thailand during the Vietnam War. General Anderson was an American fighter ace with 16 ¼ victories during WWII. He retired from the Air Force in 1972 as a Colonel having been awarded during his service the Legion of Merit x 2, Distinguished Flying Cross x 5, Bronze Star and 16 x Air Medals and many more.
