Spitfire “9G-Q” Low Top Canvas Shoes
Spitfire MJ627, marked “9G-Q,” served with No. 441 “Silver Fox” Squadron RCAF during WWII. Its first operational sortie was on September 25, 1944, and only two days later, on September 27, 1944, whilst being flown by Pilot Officer Sidney Bregman, it shot down a German Fw 190.
Today, this historic aircraft is preserved and flies from the Biggin Hill Heritage Hangar in the UK, bearing its original wartime markings where it is available to book a flight in this historic aircraft.
