VFA-115 “Eagles” High Top Canvas Shoes
VFA-115, known as the “Eagles,” is a U.S. Navy strike fighter squadron with a storied history dating back to its establishment in 1942. Over the years, VFA-115 has flown various aircraft, including the TBF and TBM Avengers, A-1 Skyraider, A-6 Intruder and F/A-18 Hornet . The squadron has participated in significant conflicts such as World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War.
The squadron has earned numerous awards for its operational excellence, including the prestigious Battle “E” award, highlighting its continued commitment to maintaining superior combat readiness and effectiveness. Â The squadron motto “EFR – Win!” (with EFR meaning “Eagles Forever Rule”) adorns each side of the shoes.
