Fw-190 “White 14” High Top Canvas Shoes
This design is based on the Focke-Wulf Fw 190 “White 14” flown by Luftwaffe triple ace Oskar Bösch of Jagdgeschwader 3 (JG 3). On April 24th, 1945 Bösch was captured by the Russian Army after he was involved in amid-air collision with a Russian Yak fighter. He subsequently escaped from captivity and trekked over 620m (1,000 km) back to Austria. He passed away in Canada aged 88 year old on June 4th, 2012.
