MH-60 Super 68 “Razors Edge” Low Top Canvas Shoes
MH-60 Black Hawk “Super 68,” (90-26288) nicknamed “Razor’s Edge,” was involved in Operation Gothic Serpent during the Battle of Mogadishu in 1993. Piloted by CW4 Keith Jones and CW3 Dan Jollota, Super 68 was part of the rescue efforts after the downing of Super 61. Despite being hit by an RPG, the crew managed to keep the helicopter airborne, successfully completing its mission and returning to base. Super 68’s actions were crucial in providing cover and support to ground forces during the intense firefight. “Super 68” is on display at the United State Army Aviation Museum.
